Discover

Persona

Through insights gathered from interviewees, we gained a clearer understanding of their concerns and expectations regarding healthcare apps, as well as which features would be most valuable to them during product development.

During one interview, a participant shared how, while on an international business trip, they were unable to obtain a prescription from a local doctor due to a lack of access to their medical records. This situation led to a health crisis, and it deeply reinforced my understanding of the app’s purpose and importance — it must be globally accessible and well-connected.

we also received many valuable suggestions. Most interviewees expressed concerns about privacy and a lack of trust in AI-based diagnoses. Some users even reported that they would search for supporting medical literature online after consulting a doctor, to verify the accuracy of their diagnosis. These insights helped us prioritize features that cater to users’ diverse needs and ensure the app remains relevant and adaptable across various scenarios.

Problem Statement

Users managing chronic conditions often struggle with understanding medical terminology and juggling multiple medications and appointments across providers. They need a simplified, centralized system to easily access, track, and manage their health information to stay organized, informed, and in control of their care.

Design Trends

ONE

Use of Governance AI on top of AI Chatbot systems. Governance AI offers some reassurances for our target demographic regarding privacy and safety of our AI Chatbot feature, and is offered as an addition to our current chat features.

Two

The rise of individual activism is reshaping healthcare technology by demanding transparency, ethical innovation, and equitable access. Activists, particularly youth, are influencing how medical tools are developed and delivered, advocating for personalized, inclusive, and secure patient-centered care.
